Training and Support with Deja
My name is Deja Richardson, and I’ve always felt called to support and uplift young people, especially those who deserve to feel seen, heard, and understood. Growing up in Detroit and being part of a big family taught me early on how to show up for others, and that naturally grew into a passion for helping young adults navigate real‑life challenges and major transitions.
I’m a Master of Social Work intern focusing on youth empowerment, life‑readiness, and trauma‑informed support. I complete my internship under the supervision of LMSW De’Nisha Beasley, whose guidance helps me stay grounded, ethical, and intentional in the work I do.
Whether I’m leading a group, planning a milestone experience, or walking alongside a young adult as they figure out their next steps, I show up with compassion, honesty, and respect. My goal isn’t to “fix” anyone, it’s to empower you, help you recognize your own strength, and support you as you build the tools you need to move forward with confidence
